# Using Barcode Mode

KaHero POS allows you to scan items using scanning equipments. Set your barcode mode on **General Settings**.

# Adding Barcodes on Items

On the **Edit Item** screen, under the **Details** section, add your item's barcode by clicking on the **Barcode Icon** to scan the barcode. Or you can manually encode the item's barcode on the field provided.

This is your barcode scanning screen. Hover the camera over the barcode of the item.

After scanning, the barcode should appear on the field provided.

# Using Built-In Camera

On the Register Screen, click on the **Barcode icon** to activate barcode mode.

This is your barcode scanning screen. Hover the camera over the barcode of the item.

After scanning, your item will appear on the ticket screen.

# Using Barcode Scanner

When scanning your items using a barcode scanner, your items will appear on the ticket screen. Items will increase depending on how many times you use the scanner.
